Alice White 0:11
Good morning residents of Caliano. It is good to be back with another day of jousts.
Buddy Duquesne 0:18
That's right Joust-heads and wow Alice, last night's match was shameful almost.
Alice White 0:25
It was definitely not Sir Dunia's finest hour. Unfortunately for him, Sir Ignatius was able to basically just walk all over him out on the field.
Buddy Duquesne 0:37
I wouldn't even say that sir Ignatius walked all over sir Dunia as much as sir Ignatius walked and Sir Dunia didn't and and that's what was so sad about it. I expected more from the knight of pentacles. Like, representing an entire region with all of this wealth and money behind him. He was unable to mount even the barest of offenses.
Alice White 1:02
No, absolutely sir Ignatius taking four out of four bouts last night. And the the shame to Sir Dunia walking off with his head low.
Buddy Duquesne 1:13
That's right, Alice and I think the the rumor that I've been hearing from the joust-heads around the arena is that Sir Dunia is actually so ashamed after losing both of his opening bouts that he has gone to his mortal enemy to get some advice.
Alice White 1:33
Oh, that's that's really interesting, so he went to Sir Sayif for advice? That's a rather humble move.
Buddy Duquesne 1:41
Yeah, well as as you know, just in their previous match, Sir Dunia had sworn revenge for Sir Sayif's new found love for Sir Dunia's betrothed and that whole drama played out and I think now they formed an unlikely friendship. sort of connection born out of adversity? I think Sir Sayif has taken pity on this younger night.
Alice White 2:08
That's true. He is incredibly noble and very logical at that, maybe he sees the, um, maybe he sees the wisdom in becoming friends or, or something similar with Sir Dunia, maybe they will form some sort of alliance that will get them both through this tournament.
Buddy Duquesne 2:29
Either way, I hope that whatever happens brings more fortune to Sir Dunia than we've seen so far because overall, it has not been a good match or set of matches for the entire court of pentacles.
Alice White 2:43
Absolutely, and we hope to see better from Sir, Sir Dunia. We hope that he takes these next couple of days to recharge and relax and come back bigger and stronger than ever.
Buddy Duquesne 2:55
And before we go, just another quick reminder, that your humble Bard, me, Buddy of house Duquesne is now officially out of days to stay at the local inn. So if anybody is aware of a room where I could just crash for, for one or two nights, that would be great. And I could I could stay for the rest of the tournament.
