Alice White 0:10

I mean, you sound terrible.

Buddy Duquesne 0:11

I- it's- just- it's just a little. It's just a little bit of a cold it's not big deal.

Alice White 0:16

All right, well,

Buddy Duquesne 0:16

I'll be, I'll be over by tomorrow. And this is just one quick episode. I mean that feast last night took a lot out of me. And I think I just need a day to kind of drink some tea and kind of rest, you know?

Alice White 0:28

Okay. All right. So long as you think you can do the show.

Buddy Duquesne 0:32

Oh, absolutely. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Alice White 0:34

All right. Well, then I guess we should get started.

Buddy Duquesne 0:37

Okay, yeah. Let's get to it. All right. Just you start. I'll be here.

Alice White 0:43

Okay. Okay. Good morning. kingdom of Caliano. It is good to have you here,

Buddy Duquesne 0:49

Alright joust heads.

Alice White 0:51

Still on that. All right. Excellent. Uh, yes, it is good to have you here. What an excellent morning it is. We celebrated a wonderful feast last night, and,

Buddy Duquesne 1:02

truly the picture of just a standard Sacrament Valley feast, all of the fixins, several entire roast animals, some some of which were not practical to eat, whole and roasted. But they were there anyways,

Alice White 1:18

it was rather extravagant and very exciting, but unfortunately meant there was no joust last night, but luckily we're back to the joust tonight. But in the meantime, we have received a note via messenger condor from a listener named Helen, who writes that Sir Dunia has been "harshly maligned." They go on to say that they believe that Sir Sayif is an "dishonorable cow" harsh words, there.

Unknown Speaker 1:46

those are incredibly harsh words for Sir Sayif, perhaps the most honorable competitor in this competition.

Alice White 1:52

I know and I don't understand what they mean by that, sir, Sir. Dunia has been harshly maligned. I mean, I think that we are fairly good at keeping our biases out of the- out of the broadcast.

Buddy Duquesne 2:07

If nothing else, we are consummate hosts that never reveal any kind of bias about any of the competitors.

Alice White 2:16

And, well and maybe a little bias leaks through, but we do our best.

Buddy Duquesne 2:20

Sure and Alice doesn't, doesn't the letter go on to say that we have been showing a lot of unfair bias against Sir Dunia. I mean, like, sir Dunia came in here as a novice knight and since the beginning of the tournament has proven that his inexperience and his unwillingness to compromise and to shift his, his strategies has only led him to disaster

Alice White 2:49

so far has only led him to disaster. However, you know, there's still almost an entire month left of jousts left and hopefully- I say this as my professional unbiased self- Hopefully Sir Dunia can can step up. I personally think that Sir Dunia would be better served if he was stronger than his pride. But SIr Sayif has been a, you know, the soldier of love and has proven to be the better fighter so far, but there are, you know, so so many tilts left to joust, so you never know what's going to happen.

Buddy Duquesne 3:25

That's true. I mean, Sir Dunia promised that he would be a smooth operator when he started out as a knight in this tournament. And, you know, he always said that what he's fighting for is the love of the king. And and for the entirety of his region, not for his own personal glory. You know, evidence to the contrary notwithstanding that is an honorable thing, but I don't think things are going to get better for Sir Dunia anytime soon.

Alice White 3:53

Well, I mean, I expect you would say that as the very next match, tonight's match is sir Dunia against your favorite Sir Vai.

Buddy Duquesne 4:03

Alice, I can't wait for this match. And you're right. I do believe that Sir Vai is the better competitor simply because of her flexibility on the field. And, you know, yes, I may be showing a small amount of bias but, you know, at the end of the day, it's what matters, what matters is the results of these matches and so far Sir Dunia has not been a competitor.

Alice White 4:28

Well, we'll have to see what happens next, until tomorrow. May all your lances strike true.
